This one is the bow for Dorothy. Pictures of her with the bow to come later! Can anyone guess where I took this picture?
This is a picture of my research bench mentor with the beard hat he asked me to make him. This was NOT my idea (he was dreaming for one of these), but he totally digs it. I think it is kinda odd, even for me. And that says a lot. He made a similar picture to this his profile picture. It is not yet finished, as it needs some hemming. However, it will be completed this week.
I just made up the pattern as I went. It happened to turn out pretty well, in my estimation. I have never made a mustache, beard, or aviator-style hat before.
